A more detailed photo of the stunning stained glass window.Bath is a favourite haunt for tourists from all over the world and Saturday was no exception. The town was heaving with people. There are loads of things to see in Bath and it would have been nice to be able to explore with a few less visitors, but I still had an excellent day.
Back to Cheltenham photos tomorrow. Come back to see what I can come up with!

The cathedral is striking, but I'm really intrigued by the fiddler on the tightrope. Always amazing the lengths buskers will go to perform their art in a way that sets them apart. Nice group of images. ~Chuck

Phew had to look through my fingers there for a second, i thought it said Marley IN the bath. The city's fab isn't it. Well photographed!
I visited Bath many many years ago and just loved it. Your photos bring me back to that visit. What a beautiful place! Did you have some Sally Lunn's buns? That cathedral is spectacular!
I am always amazed that the stained glass in old churches are, first of all...there....and second....so beautiful. It seems like it would have been impossible to do the stained glass back then but obviously ....not. Love your photos from Bath, I could use a spa day!
When I was in graduate school, one of my best friends went to Bath and London on a student exchange program and she told me all about the Roman history of spas there.
Did you take a photo of the coliseum like structure that houses the public bath?
so beautiful... i just love the upward view inside the abbey, it's amazing...i don't know that i'd like to be inside there in an earthquake though!
