Just a random peacock photo from the old archive today. Aren't they an amazing bird? Just look at all those colours, no wonder they are well known for being show-offs. Wouldn't you be if you looked like that?!

What vibrant colors! You were brave to get that close. Sometimes they're not the friendliest of birds. That's really a gorgeous shot.

I have the classic shot of a peacock's tail, with the bird looking really proud. "Strutt your stuff---if you've got it, flaunt it," is their motto.
He looks a bit narked at the camera in his face though!!

Beautiful. Unfortunately, we lived next door to a family that had 15 peacocks. They're not the quietest of birds and we eventually moved after 6 months. Beautiful until they open their mouthes.

One of the birds where the female has a silly name (peahen)and is really very drab. Well his showing off has resulted in his tail feather being unlucky in some cultures. Still I do love those colours
