These Hellebores, or Christmas Roses, are still flowering even though spring has begun. I don't know if they are late due to the cold weather we had in February or if they are supposed to flower in March! You normally see them in white but other colours, like this pink one, are now quite common. They certainly add to the springy feeling that is in the air. At last!_

I featured these a few weeks ago and they were my header as well. We call them Lenten Roses. Gorgeous and such a welcom sight .

Pretty as a rose! nothing in bloom here, everything is that dull dead look. We still have mounds of ugly grayish snow.
In cold climes, anything that looks like spring is definitely welcomed.
