Summertime Blues

It is meant to be the start of summer but someone forgot to tell the sky. It hasn't stopped raining here for days and it is set to continue through the coming weekend, which will be nice! So today I've posted a flower photo to try and cheer things up a bit. Hope it works. The sun has got to shine eventually!

What a delightful shot. The lovely purple really stands out.
It rains in my city almost every evening. Hope the rain doesn't dampen your spirits to capture beautiful things.

You must have gotten the weather we had last week. It rained for days and was very dreary. I'm sure the sunny weather will be around the corner! The flower photo is so lovely.

It is a beautiful close up. I've so bad with flowers, love'em , but never know what they are. We seemed to have escaped the bad weather here.

Here's my partner's cartoon blog address. You were right I should have put it in the post.

Rain here too. I swear we have had 3 days of sunny blue skies since January first. Well...it seems that way. I feel your pain, love the cheery flower. Just remember, the plants need rain wter to keep pretty like this.

I am planting flowers this weekend and it has rained on and off here all week...makes the weeding easier but an acre of land is pretty darn hard to keep the weeds back! my flower beds are looking better but it is a killer of a job to do.....I love your purple flower...hopefully it will quit raining sooner than later!
