Shakespeare's house, now a museum and part of a visitors centre. Too expensive for us to visit!

A native American pan pipe player! These guys are often seen in towns up and down the country, trying to sell a CD or two.
I hope you've enjoyed the photos of Stratford-Upon-Avon I've shown over the last few days. Back to Cheltenham tomorrow.

I love this series on Stratford! Great photos.
The canal boat I assume is on one of the waterways? You know, I really wouldn't expect to see a Native American in traditional dress if I visited Stratford on Avon. How incongruous!

I enjoyed these very much, Marley. In 1999 I had the good fortune to take a summer acting course at Oxford, taught by members of the RSC. Part of our summer was a day at Stratford-Upon-Avon. I took the tour of Shakespeare's house (loved it), but didn't see any Native Americans. We saw a terrific production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the evening. Our day there wasn't long enough!
That last photo....made me think he took a wrong turn at the ocean! nice series.
Lovely sceneries in your photo. I have heard of Stratford-Upon-Avon a lot but this is the first time I've seen photos of the town.
As for the American Indian, is he for real or is it a gimmick to sell CDs? Perhaps he's the descendant of Pocahontas.
