Axiom Mural

This colourful mural is on the wall of the now defunct Axiom Arts Centre, as featured yesterday. The painting is in good condition seeing as its been off limits for the past six years. I poked my camera through the gate to get this photo! I'm not really sure what its all about. Any ideas? I love the green elephant at the far end! Hope it brightens your day.

It is a very cute mural. Looks like the Arche de NoƩ (Noah's Arch?).
The things you have to do in the name of blogging, right? A good thing that you did not drop your camera!

nice shot! i agree, it reminds me of noah's ark also... and one eyed inter-racially coupled space-people...

This brings a Neil Young song to mind - "After the Gold Rush".

Whimsical and artsy, it brightens the scene.

A mural depicting scenes from the recent bestseller "The Life of Pi"?

Beautiful mural. I hope some who appreciates fine buildings and art will restore this space...

Looks like it could be "an out-take" from Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod. _:)

I don't want to know, so i can let my inagination run wild. You did a great job to poke your camera through and get this vivid mural, and not get arrested.

What a shame that the Axiom Arts Center is now defunct. Hopefully, the mural won't get vandalized or destroyed.

That is lovely - thanks for bringing it to a wider audience!

I think the white character is a transsexual. It seems to have both male and female characteristics. Unfortunately they are missing facial features.

Thanks a lot for posting the photos of Axiom! This was the most favourite place when I lived in Cheltenham 10 years ago. I really miss it and am shocked they closed now. So sad... I saved the photos for my memory. Axiom will remain in my mind.

Thank you.
