Steps And Railings

Steps and iron railings like these could be in front of Regency houses in Bath, London or Edinburgh but obviously these are in Cheltenham. The town houses on Imperial Square have a great view, they overlook Imperial Gardens and the Town Hall, and they are one of the towns best examples of fine architecture.

You are right about Bath. Reminds me too of a small area in St Andrews, onviously not the football ground. How clean is this street! This would be perfect for a mono with shadows.

You can take these shots all day! Love it, especially the way the long lens compresses the buildings and railings.

Such a beautiful terrace. I love the angle, the iron railings and that you've captured the pavement and the weeds. Such a very English shot. Love it.

I love the perspective you've captured in this shot. Those window boxes are very cheerful in front of some of the houses. This looks like a lovely area.

They look very swanky! Though I love that they haven't got round to getting rid of the dandelion yet!

Love the perspective and the tiled sidewalk. Do your townhouses have garages? Where do the residents park their cars?

Excellent repetitive repetition.

One of my favorite sights when visiting England. And I like that tiny little dandelion bravely supporting the ironwork -:)
