Theme Day - Night

Its the first of the month and its Theme Day across the CDPB community. This months theme is 'Night' and this is my offering. It shows Christ Church lit up at night. Its an impressive building and can be seen from all around Cheltenham, especially at night.

To see all the other many interpretations for this Theme head here.

Wow, that is a dramatic photo! And also, I just realized the theme for August is 'Night'.

But I don't have any night photos from Bangor yet. I guess I will have to do it tonight.

The angle of the shot makes it very dramatic. Impressive indeed!

I love old churches and buildings, especially when they're lit up so dramatically at night like this one. Beautiful!

Yes, great angle plays up the elongated windows of this impressive structure. I like the appropriate choice of the word "offering".

This wouldn't look out of place in Harry Potter.

Great perspective. I feel so small and Christ Church seems so large. It seems so late! Such mood in the photo!

Brilliant photo Marley - I think it just needs a bat flying across it to complete the image :)

Dramatic angle ... makes you feel pretty small, eh Marley? Nicely done!

Oh my, Marley, you got the real deal here. Night. And a beautiful picture too.

I slept under a blanket last night. This has been the coldest July ever recorded here in Ohio where we live. And it was only 59 F here this morning. August is starting out to be more of the same. I fear a climate change is on the way and each year will disrupt the lives of more birds and butterflies to say nothing about the polar bears.
