Let It Snow!

No, this photo wasn't taken in the depths of winter. It was taken yesterday morning. Here in Cheltenham we had our first snow of the winter, even though its spring! It didn't last for long, it all melted away by lunchtime. I got out and took some photos just before the thaw!

The first photo shows the view up Leckhampton Hill. The photo above is of a house set in a temporary winter wonder land.

This photo is taken on the side of a country lane. I know our snowfall is nothing like some places have seen this winter, but it made for a good opportunity to try out some of the different features on my camera! Hope you enjoyed this little bit of winter.

Wow Marley..in just a few hours the snow actually covered the whole landscape? Must be really heavy snow then..

You know I love snow...but we have had so much this year....however...this looks lovely...especially if it melted quickly.

Oh, my goodness! What lovely photos but really I don't want any more snow! HAHAHA!

Thanks so much for visiting Guelph! Yes, today I went to church both morning and evening with just a suit jacket on...no coat! I hope that "Spring has sprung!"

WARNING - DELETE THAT COMMENT FROM salar and DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK - IT UNLEASHES A VIRUS!

This is the third I've seen this morning - I wish he'd go away as fast the snow but he uses a different profile name each time.

This is all brought to you with the blessings of the folks in our Whine House. It is lovely isn't it. I am so glad you got to post these pictures and not me. I like the photos you posted today. Nice work.

Why won't winter just go away? We've got so much of the white stuff this season... Sigh.

Yes, you may as well let it snow! Not a darn thing you can do about it -:)

But just look at all the photo opportunities it presents.

Lovely!

Oh, that's beautiful. I always love a good snowfall, even in the springtime. It looks like a winter wonderland in your photos. That house must have a lovely view of the countryside. Great shots!

I think snow that just lasts a few hours is the best sort :) Crisp and clean for photos and the odd snowball fight, but disappears before it gets slushy and brown.

Funnily enough, there's still been no snow at all in Glasgow, in fact we had to turn the heating off in the office as we were so hot. The world's gone mad!
