What a funny idea! I've never heard of such a thing. I imagine the people who work there get used to it after a while. Good idea for a post!
Pretty lights here at tyour bank. Imagine the poor bank wokers viewing the changing lights all day long.
My doctor's office is on the 2nd floor of the building and patients have to be buzzed in at the ground floor.
One day, when I was sitting in the waiting room, the buzzer went off every minute because the practice has 4 other physicians and there were a lot of patients coming in for their appointments.
I asked the receptionist what she thought of the buzzer and she looked at me with a weak smile and said, "I'm used to it now!"
strange way to lure customers!
Lovely outside, but if I had to work under constantly changing lights I'd find somewhere else to work!
Seems a waste of energy, especially in these green times.
Nice! Love the changes in color.
Very observant of you to take these.I hate banks( i left one to be a photographer),but you have found a use for them. Beautiful photos, for an ugly subject.
In the Glasgow press recently there seems to be a bit of a campaign going to get businesses who "light up" at night (there are a few notorious ones who are really bright) to turn off the lights. I basically agree, it's so wasteful, but one woman did write in to say that she always stood outside one of them at night waiting for her taxi as she felt safer, so I suppose you could say it has its uses (though I'm very sure the shop hadn't planned on helping community safety).
I haven't played very much with the night setting on my camera. But I've been quite pleased with the results when I have tried it.
what an interesting idea for a bank!
think they are getting popular everywhere :-)
this is interesting, and you have to wonder what purpose they serve in doing this... i mean, it was obviously done with some thought and planning...
I hate pointless lights :(
Well-exposed photos though :)
