Marley In London

Last week Phoebe and I went to London for a couple of days. I took loads of photos and I thought I'd share a few with you to start the week.

You wait for one bus and then three turn up at once! I like this one of St Paul's Cathedral with the red buses in front.

Jellyfish at the London Aquarium. They aren't really this colour, they are lit in their tanks with constantly changing colours. Very effective.

One of the fountains in Trafalgar Square.

Old and new. The Gherkin building from the Tower Of London.

The Ravens at the Tower Of London. If you want to know more about the birds at the Tower then go here.

Big Ben and the Palace Of Westminster at sunset.

The view at night from our hotel room (it was only a Travel Lodge!) St Paul's Cathedral and Canary Wharf.

Hope you enjoyed as much as we did!

I sure did! Love 'em all, though the sunset shot is my favorite. I really adore those red double-decker buses, and the Gherkin building is quite… unique. Thank you for sharing your photos with us. Glad to hear you and Phoebe had a great time!

Ooh, very very nice indeed - well done!

I always think the Gherkin looks like a lava lamp.

I love them all. That London sky. It makes me want to be there. I love that city. Great shots. So do they call it the Gherkin because it's shaped like a pickle?

Wow! My 2nd favorite place to visit (now that I've been to NYC ;) - thanks for bringing back lovely memories.
These photos are wonderful - really show the city at it's best. PERFECT night shot too. Just wonderful!

I thought the jelly fish was an electric lamp before I read the caption. One of those that look like a big round transparent bulb, with fluorescent light in!

I love the shot from your hotel window - a lovely panaroma. My favouite part of London is around the river and in the old city. Not a bad view for a Travelodge!
