Caffeine Fix

Costa Coffee has finally moved in. You may remember I posted on this place when it was still the Dobells pub and more recently I posted on the Coat of Arms above the door and now, to keep you all updated, here it is as a chain coffee shop. In true Cheltenham style I think it stands out from all those hundreds of other Costa's around the country. Don't ask me what the inside is like as I don't drink coffee or tea! I'll have to go in for a hot chocolate. I'll report back.

NNOOOO!!! a cahain??!! Well, at least Costa doesn't have a dtivr thru. And don't give them this dredful idea. no coffee, eh? I guess i make up my coffee intake for you as I usually have somewhere between 6 and 10 cups a day.

Hey, it's my only vice! And yes, I do sleep like a baby at night. however, Mrs. DL claims I snore; but I don't know anything about that.

Report report! I need my coffee update. It may surprise you, but even we have a Costa in big old Douglas, Isle of Man. We also have IOM service though, slow, lazy, rude - that's the good points. Good to see such a fine buidling utilised.

I'm drinking my coffee as I write this. Couldn't live without it. Of the chains costa coffee is not too bad. I always wish something better than a chain would take over these lovely old buildings, but I suppose better a chain than the building becomes derilict.
Thanks for the additional statistic re CCTV. I will add to my growing database.

No coffee or tea?! Barbaric! ;)

I really love that building. Even the architectural details over the upper windows look fabulous.

Go have that hot chocolate soon! Costa Coffee has not made it to Philippine shores yet.

As chains go, I do think Costa is one of the better ones. I don't drink coffee either, and not all that much tea, but I'll have the odd Earl Grey, and I like their cakes :)

I'm having my coffee fix right now actually ;0
Love that building the coffee shop is housed in.
We have a local chain called Mill Mountain which is right around the corner, just your plain run of the mill strip mall eye sores! Would much rather have one of these around the corner!

No coffee or tea! How do you stay awake?! I need my dose of coffee in the morning. A nice hot chocolate sounds good about now though. You'll have to give theirs a try!

Hello, ye of the evil Ferris Wheel trickery ;-)

You're going to have to go inside that Costa now, because I want to know if it really is different from all the other Costas. I'll go and take a pic inside Costas in York and we can compare them, hee hee!
