Taxi!

New York meets London in Cheltenham.

At last I've captured the elusive yellow taxi! This innocent looking vehicle has been taunting me for months. Its been driving me to distraction. I've seen it travelling around town, I've seen it going up and down my road, I wanted it for the yellow theme day, but I never managed a photo. Until now. Here it is parked in the taxi rank on The Prom in the middle of town. My quest is over. My next challenge? To join Babooshka and Gail's Man in the hunt for the white dog poo!

Aha! "Everything comes to those who wait!" We go to some lengths don't we to capture these photos! What's this about white dog poo?

Love the taxi; we, too, have yellow taxis but none with such a classy chassis.

As the saying goes, "taxis are never around when you need them". I'm glad you finally caught up with this 6-seater . . . have a party . . .

Happy you caught the taxi, but the next quest? Hmm it's ok if you don't manage that one.

Hilda, the big taxis over here are usually black, unless they're covered in advertising.

Marley, I'm glad your patience was rewarded. I won't join you in your quest - as a former nurse I have seen white human poo, and that was quite enough thank you!!

Oh dear. I fear we will have to come clean about the white dog poo so to speak. I understand your elation at finally capturing that elusive image, the one that haunts you. Bostin' image as they don't say in New York.

Congratulations, Marley! Well done! And of course you do realize you'll find poo romping with Piglet and Eyeore in the Hundred Acre Wood, right?
