Mist Rolling In

At the beginning of the week, when this photo was taken, the weather wasn't so good. This is a view of Leckhampton Hill with the low cloud and mist swirling around the trees at the top. I guess it must have been like being on a plane up there. Now the weather is dry and bright, but we are promised an arctic blast for the weekend. I'll have to get out my long johns!!

Yes we are. Brr. Do I have to wear Long Johns too? The skating rinks are being imported just in time then.

Looks very, very chilly esp. with the cold mist... Does the arctic blast still mean clear skies?

PS - RE yesterday's title - Basil goose-stepping with a pointer under his nose :{0 - the reminder of that gave me a good chuckle.

Ooh, I can feel the arctic blast from here thanks to that photo! Very evocative!

Lynn's mention of skating rinks takes me back to the "silver blades" in brum- happy days. This scene is such a brisk autumn feel to it, the chill before those artic conditions. Thermal long johns perhaps.
