Yes, I'm afraid so! I'd forgotten I'd taken this photo of the Penfold post box opposite the Cheltenham Ladies College and the poor thing missed out on being part of my series the other week. Today I right that wrong! I really liked this photo because of the trail of red going off into the distance - the red post box, the red roadwork bollards and the red light. Sometimes things just come together.

I LURVVVVVV this as Petrea would say. I lurv the red, the cute post boxes, the whole nine yards. And yes, I knew you'd love the Paris window with them gloves. Oh their shop windows are to die for. I have more you know!

PS I don't know if I shared this with you but twice while in Paris I was asked if I was from England. With this southern accent??? Who knew!!!!

Maybe this is what is wrong with out postal service that is now nearly bankrupt. The color of our mail box is red white and blue and looks like a litter box with a lid. That and the postal rates. I am always amazed at your letter boxes in red.

I almost expected to see a pair of eyes peeking out from where it says LETTERS. They seem so...alive?!
My eye is always drawn to take shots of these pillar boxes too. They are not a national icon for nothing! I do like this one - older than the ones we have in Lancaster (although I'll hunt for one to beat yours in terms of age!!).
Well I just lurvvvve a red... No I won't. That is a cracker of a colour. You succumbed then to the lure of the postbox.
