Changing View - August

The second of the month means Changing View here at Cheltenham DP and this months photo is the 12th image of the same scene. Last month I said it was hot, well that soon ended! July was the wettest month since last September (when I started this series) and last Wednesday was the wettest day since last September. August looks like its set to be the same. So much for summer! On the second day of next month I'll show all the photos together, to really show the change (nothing like dragging it out!)

To see how the view has changed click on 'changing view' in the labels below.

I notice the jackets, Marley. Chilly already? Too bad, but is it typical?

More and more different from winter shots!.. Even with people wearing jackets! :-)

Hmmm ... this is beginning to look like home for you, Marley -:) Think you need a vacation from your British weather. I'll send a little heat your direction - if - you agree to share some of your cool moisture. OK?

Based on your photos, you at least had two months of summer. We had all of two weeks!

no no no everybody this is not normal. Marley this picture will surely go down in history as the year of the summer there never was. Goobly gook I know but that's what the non summer is. Unfair unfair. Sun gods come back.

I like summer showers (which we get once in a blue moon) - but not that much rain. Wish you warm Indian summer. Nice capture with the puddles in the photo.

Now this is a typical British summer image. Rain soaked streets. Be interesting to see them all together and match the weather to the month.
