Okay Marley, I'll believe you that it's a fine foods place, but I think their plastic chef is a bit creepy. He reminds me of some sinister ads for Burger King here in the States, where they used a masked character that really put me off my food!
I wonder if he gets tired of standing there all day holding that bread up in one hand and with that fake smile?
Lifestyle shop? The mind wanders.
The bread looks good, but the baker looks a little too happy!
Ah! But the big baker doesn't have Little Chef's Kombi, which is simply a-do-ra-ble!
He does look a little evil doesn’t he? I wonder what he puts in those sausage rolls to make them so tasty...
Well, all the critical, creepy, cynical, plastic, happy comments aside, I enjoy seeing this type of statue (did I go too far?) decorating shops. Cliche? Of course. Appropriate , eye catching and memorable. Yep! I'd take his recommendation and at least step inside for a closer look.
I second Chuck here: you gotta get inside and take a look!
Thanks for answering my questions, btw. :)
I like this chef, he demands you enter and try his bakery goods.
"Louis", having moved to Paris to attend baking school and now back in la Californie applauds your selection of the baker. The bread M. Boulanger is holding, alas, appears to be (ahem) a bit dry...
This is a scary image. He looks like the stuff of nightmares. I would take a peek inside, but I I have a Lifestyle that is mine, why do I Want to shop for it.
Sounds yummy!! I love pastries and cakes.
You had me drolling.
I know this place well. After all I live in Tivoli!!
