Gallery

The Gardens Gallery, in the Proscenium Building, Montpellier Gardens, is a popular venue for local artists to show their work. The exhibitions always have free admission and are very varied. At the moment an exhibit entitled 'The World Through our Eyes' is on at the gallery. Three local artists - Sara Chardin, Amy Blacker and Gez Browning - are displaying their landscape paintings and photography.

Born Free

At last, I've finished work for my holidays! Yesterday was my last day for 18 whole days and next Wednesday we are off to the Greek Island of Rhodes. I can't wait! What better way to illustrate the fact than this shop sign?!

As of next Monday I'm handing Cheltenham DP over to you, my dedicated visitors. If you'd like one of your photos to feature here then send me an email (details in my profile.) Thanks so much to those of you who have sent me some fantastic images so far. You know who you are. As I'm in holiday mode you can tell me what you want to see here tomorrow - either a bank in black and white or a shoppers starry sky. Let me know!

Two Things Challenge - Free / Range

Thought I'd have a go at the Two Things Challenge this week. At the moment there is an advert on TV here for Anchor Butter with the strap line 'the free range butter company.' Surely all butter is free range as the milk used comes from cows that graze on pasture, otherwise there would be no milk and therefore no butter! Anyway...here are some free range sheep, grazing on top of Leckhampton Hill. Do you count sheep to get to sleep?

If you want to join in with Two Things, or to see how others have interpreted this weeks challenge, head over to the Two Things Challenge blog.
