Giant Crusher

I spotted this bike flouting the rules outside The Jolly Brewmaster pub. I guess the landlord is a Triumph owner. Although, while looking for some info on Triumph motors, I discovered that Triumph started out making bicycles in 1885, so whoever the bike belongs to is well within their rights to park it there!

Some of you may have picked up that I've been lacking inspiration over the last few days. I got myself out onto the mean streets of Cheltenham yesterday evening to try to recapture my enthusiasm. While walking I decided that I'm going to write less and post photos that interest me more. I'll still show you Cheltenham's fine Regency buildings and share with you some of my towns history but from now on Cheltenham Daily Photo is going to be more about the photos. I hope you all still enjoy visiting!

That's a good one. Maybe the owner will be a giant fan in future. :-)

Maybe the bike has a bumper sticker that says "my other bike is a Triumph"
I enjoy your photos and your narrative.

Pardon my ignorance, I learnt that Triumph cars are actually classic British cars. Thanks for sharing, Marley.

Looking forward to know the history part about your city.

Thanks for the link to the Triumph. I was wondering what that was.

As for inspiration, I go through ups and downs with that too. Some days everything seems to catch my eyes but other days, I can walk around town for hours and nothing pops out at me.

Good luck, my friend. May you find inspiration far and near.

I find that somedays are easy and the words sort of flow. Other days I settle for a simple caption. But ... the photo must please me in the first place. Inspiration will strike again. Just be patient.

Well I can talk crap all day long. Maybe beacuse I always have some sort of issue. You do have to go with the guts on the dailies. Post what your'e happy with, not others. Be interesting to see the results you get. As for triumph, sure you didn't but the bra link on instead of the bike. Thing Ming would also enjoy that. Now that would get your traffic flowing. I have a strange mind!

How funny! I would probably have completely missed that sign! It is hard to keep up the inspiration to take photos. I have that challenge all the time. But you always show us such cool things and great photos! We will look forward to seeing more.

I love finding these quirky signs in London.
Somedays are easier than others to be inspired. Some days I'd rather be out taking pictures and not sitting at my computer posting the blog.
Although at the moment I think the weather in the UK has a lot to answer for.
Hang in there we enjoy your blog.

Great catch, Marley! I knew about Tiumph cars but not the two tire models. Clueless & I have talked recently about the daily blogger slump ... it happens. I'm with chuck ... the picture has to please me. Hang in there!
