Bee-n Waiting

The sun finally made an appearance, nature burst into life for a few hours and I got my photo. I'd been wanting to get a photo like this for a while and at last my camera, a flower and a bee all met up! This big bumble bee was busy collecting pollen from a delphinium. The rain stopped and my wait was worth it. I hope the bee felt the same.

Perfect synergy. It truly is a tremendous photograph. I would have been so proud to have taken this. The blend of colours and the clarity is superb. Extremely well done. Swing that arme round and give yourself a pat on the back.

This is a wonderful shot! The colors are lovely!

Really, I've never seen bumble bees here in Manila. Just the little brown ones. I wonder why.

Congratulations. A nice macro shot. You got the bee's fur coat too.

He is after nectar in the flower and not pollen. And the other thing I noticed right away is that your bumblebees are different in color but close to our golden bumblebee in color.

I really like these guys and photograph them and their various size cousins almost every day.

I hope you get some more nice days and some more nice macro shots of your bees.
