Deco Design

Just down from Cambray Baptist Church, standing solidly at the end of Cambray Place, is Cambray Court. The building is from the 1920's and, although not screamingly so, is Art Deco in design. The building is still split into the original apartments as it was nearly 100 years ago and is a very popular residence in the heart of town. I'd like to get beyond those gates sometime and see if its a bit more Art Deco inside.

Those 20s buildings are so solid . . . replace the windows and they're good for another few decades.

Still gorgeous after all these years.

I like the bay windows down the middle - although, that's may just be stairs inside & not actually an apt where the bays are. Oh well, nice touch to the looks of the building

The entrance is impressive but looks like it could use a bath too (like many of our buildings here). Good luck with your mission! I hope — for our sake too — that you succeed. :)

I'm also a big fan of Art Deco and I was very curious about your post after reading your comment.
The building is awesome! Poirot could live there! :-)
