One last photo from Tash at Palos Verdes Daily Photo. Today we are still at Osborne House, on the Isle of Wight, and this is The Queens Boar. Its a really impressive piece of carving. I haven't found out much more about it. Tash, perhaps you know more? Gives us the info in the comments!

Tash has been to the Isle Of Wight. I lived just across the water in Bournemouth and never went. Sadly you got me on this one and without a spot of googling have no info. Great close up Tash.
That's a fabulous photo. I've been to the IoW a few times over the years, but never made it to Osborne House. Next time ...
Was also in the Isle of Wight 2 years ago, visiting from Malaysia. Didn't make it there. Another time...
VERY cool! love all the detail.
is this a wood-carving? it looks like wood. but then, the stone walls have the same hue.
very dramatic, and you've captured the drama. kudos!

Fantastic details!
Reminds me of the monster boars in one of my favorite Japanese animated films, Princess Mononoke. Fearsome.
Certainly different than a puppy as most queeens have. Just catching up with your guests over the past few days. This is fun.Such a great idea Marley. Hope you are having lots of sun. Just gone grey and cold again here.
What a bore! I mean, a boar. (Marley humor there). No, I don't know any more about it but I will look in the brochoures that I have of the place.
