Fakie, Heel Edge, Nollie, Primo. Mean anything to you? No, me neither! Apparently they are all terms used in skateboarding. For all I know this group of lads could be performing each and everyone of them! I spotted them honing their skills in Montpellier Gardens. The gardens have a skateboard park but these four were practising on the flat area in front of the cafe, it may have had something to do with a large group of older kids using the skating equipment, I guess they were waiting their turn.
Have we got any skateboard demons in our midsts?!

Yeah, I'm a whizz on 'the board'. LOL as if! I tried, on my sons' but could hardly keep balance. This is a great shot.
Snow's falling fast again in Tewkesbury - you have it too?
These boys look like they could be from here!
I had a skateboard when I was a kid and my friends and I would ride but I couldn't do anything crazy,lol...my boys have boards and love to get the chance to practice but now that we've moved we don't have any cement, which I'm ok with, it bugs them though so I have to take them to the school parking lot to let them ride :)
ah, you should ask to borrow one of their boards and give it a go. Our city built a skateboard park for the kids. Many arguments at the City council against it fearing money wasted. wow were they wrong, it; sht busiest place in the city second only to the grocery store.
I tried it once when I was a kid. Learned my lesson with bloody knees and elbows.
I remember skateboards first time around. Orange plastic board, red wheels, £3-and death traps. See ya later boys. I'love to shoot then in action though.
I don't know, but around here they're called Skater DUDES!!! hehehe LoL!
Great shot Marley. Not a skater myself - I fall off shoes that are higher than half an inch, never mind something with wheels on!
i just like to hang about for the photos.
Great pic.. you caught the action. I wonder if they study with as much concentration. Ha! Ha!
more pics of boys please :p
