Changing View - February

It's the second day of the month and its time for the sixth installment of Changing View. Well, as you can see, not a lot has changed since last month! That's winter for you! All I can really say is that I like the colour in the sky, behind the trees. Since last month one thing that has changed is that some of you have joined in with this idea and that is brilliant. I only started this series to record the changing seasons, so it is an added bonus that some of you have felt inspired to have a go too.

...UPDATE...

The photo above was taken on Saturday but overnight, and as I write this, it snowed. So, as I'm a dedicated photo blogger, I braved the elements his morning and took the photo below. What a difference a day makes.

To see how the scene has changed over the months click on 'changing view' in the labels below.

Shame you didn't take it today, as it might be all white. Even Nottingham has some snow today!

I like this idea of yours very much, and may incorporate one in the future. Have you ever seen the film 'Smoke,' with Harvey Keitel and William Hurt? Great slice-of-life story, and Harvey takes a photo of his street corner every day at 8 a.m.....

I'm sure this scene looks all white today. Smoke is a brilliant film I kno what Bibi is talkng about. Black and white image, one a day same time. It is the people element that make this shot.

If Cheltenham is anything like London, the square will now be totally white. Both great pictures

Looks like you don't have to wait a month for the view to change!

Great pics Marley. Am a bit disappointed with our snowfall aren't you? Not like London or the south at all. Still, there's more to come apparently :)

Beautiful with the snow. I hope to make it to the UK some day. I go to France every year so there is no excuse.

Nice blog - great pictures!

I remember this 'Changing View' series. Great job on the photos.

I just read in the news that London has the worst snowstorm in decades.

Stay warm, my friend.

That is such a nice shot with the couple strolling in the foreground. But I like the snowy version too. Thanks for going back to get that shot!

Very nice. We've finally had some snow here too.

Doesn't look too serious, Marley. Sure does make things look different, though. Heard the City turned white as a ghost, too -:)

The snow really contributes a changing view! Thanks for going the extra effort.

That's what I thought too - not much change from last months, and then SNOW. This is so much fun to view.
