I'm not quite sure what you call these things but they hang (as you can see!) and spin in the breeze. They were on one of the stalls at the Christmas Market in the Prom and they seemed to be quite popular with the shoppers. I wonder how many Cheltonians will wake up and find one of these in their stocking this Christmas? What would you like to find in your stocking this Christmas?
Don't forget its Theme Day tomorrow. If you've signed up remember to take part.

Love those colorful swirling strands. I'll be happy with anything as long as it isn't a lump of coal :)
pretty capture!
Your photos are so wonderfully clear. I feel like I'm standing or sitting right beside you, seeing the exact same sights.
As long as it's not coal, I'm happy.
Actually, I don't want anything for Christmas this year. But if I had to choose, I would love to have job security and/or financial independence. :-)
OR a winning lottery ticket. :-)
the colors are marvelous & there are so many of them (& don't forget the angel too!)
4 Christmas - a photo class for this year. ("We" got our Canon PowerShot 8.0 meg last year for "us" - but it's really been MINE.) I've just started coveting an SLR so I thought I'd wait for a while.
Thanks for the reminder - I'd totally forgotten about theme day (despite being really organised and taking the picture a few weeks ago!).
I don't want much either - we have a ton of stuff in storage that we haven't got room for, so the thought of even more "stuff" is a bit stressful! A job for my other half would be the best present :)
Those are so pretty! We call those "windcatchers."
I like these, I want one. How pretty are they. Every year I ask Gary for Sean Connery - still waiting!
Ooh, that's fun, Marley!
Superb photo. I'd like to find a book on photography - either 'how to' or a book - say Henri Cartier Bresson. I hope you are listening, Santa!
I am so with Ming on this one!
Love the swirly things!
Right or wrong, I call these whirlygigs. Pretty colors that grab our attention.

A Canon external mount flash. ;)
