Medieval Abbey

My dad lives just the other side of Tewkesbury and on Tuesday night he took us out for something to eat, yet more birthday celebrations involving food! As we walked back to the car my blogging head came into play and I spotted a photo op, and I had my camera with me! This is the famous Abbey framed by one of the flags still flying from the Medieval weekend, that took place in Tewkesbury last month.

This is also my first Photoshop doctored photo. Not hugely different to the original, I was really just playing around, trying to work out all the different features. Thanks Phoebe for installing the software, what would I do without you?

Nice perspective on the flag and abbey. Now confess all - what did you photoshop?

Is this birthday a special number? Or just lots of fun celebrating with lots of friends

Beautiful abbey!

I hope you just use Photoshop to enhance and not totally change your photos. There's a place for that, of course, and I usually love the results, but that's for another blog, I think. Sounds like you're having fun with your new app, though. (But really, you had to have someone else install the software? You sound like my husband — I have to troubleshoot when he's having computer problems!) =D

Is that a rooster at the top of the weather vane? That looks French as the rooster is one of "our" symbols".....

Interesting! Now to me it looks like a perfectly natural lovely shot. Vivid clear blue, very nice angled perspective so now I'm curious. Go on educate us!

I like the perspective of the shot with the vibrant blue flag in the foreground. Lucky you had your camera with you. I wish I had photoshop!

I love this shot, Marley. Doesn't look photoshopped. Give me classic architecture any time.
