Two Things Challenge - Partial / Whole

After many weeks of unrelenting pressure from D.C Confidential I have finally joined in with the Two Things Challenge (I tell you, the woman is not to be messed with!) By joining in with this weekly challenge I put my name alongside those of some fantastic photographers and I hope my offerings live up to the photos that have gone before. Anyway, on to the photos. Pretty self explanatory - a partial moon in the day and a whole moon at night.

If you would like to join in head over to the Two Things Challenge blog.

Hurray! You did it! Superb shots. I esp. like the partial moon in the bright blue sky. It's interesting how the moon does look the same here as there. :)

Hello Marley
I joined "2 things" for the first time last week and welcome you to the meme as much as I am able.

I do like this interpretation of the prompt. Finding an interesting interpretation was a challenge that had me thinking for a number of days.

My post will be up in about 2 hours.

Nice photos of the moon. It looks like our moon does.

Great minds think alike, I guess. My entry is VERY similar. I LOVE to photograph the moon, but sometimes I wish I had a 2000mm lens to do it justice.
Nice photos.

Excellent work!! And you're right DC can be persuasive! ;) I was also convinced to re-join the challenge after having previuosly bowed out due to laziness.

Marley,
Great entry. Alas, I let the deadline slip by of course.
Maybe next week. You will be back won't you??? Of course you will!

I love seeing the moon showing so delicately like that in the daytime sky.

very clever, and great shots. my moon shots usually look like white blobs, which I suppose would be useful if one of the two things in the challenge was a blob...
