Changing View - January

It's the second day of the month (and the year!) and it's time for the fifth installment of my Changing View series. We've been having a really cold spell here but no snow yet. The bright, frosty days have been lovely, but freezing. The sun has been low in the sky and it lit the Municipal Offices wonderfully. Winter still has a long way to go until it's over but the leaves will be back on the trees before you know it.

To see how the scene has changed click on 'changing view' in the labels below.

Oh, it's already tomorrow? Wow!

This is a very cool idea, this changing view Marley! Me likey! :)

It's getting cold here too. Yesterday, we got some snow and people were freezing in Times Square, eheh. Champagne at home has never felt better. :)

Bundle up and stay warm!

I love your Changing View series. I've just been back and looked at them all again - it's amazing how much things change in just a month! I like seeing all the different people in the shots too at different times!

Looking chilly, but bright. anxious to see what February brings.

The new year is upon us, no turning back now. let us hope 2009 is a better year for us all.

This is a great idea. Brrrr, it looks so chilly. It was fun to look at all five at once to compare. Did you mark an X on the sidewalk, sorry, pavement?
Speaking of installments, how's the tree in front doing?
Also, I left a very belated comment on Nov 2 post.

Very cold here, but dull, dull, dull. Haven't seen the sun for a week now & so not much photography is taking place.

I like that clear, crisp light too. But so cold! Glad you got some people in the shot.

Nice photo and the muted colors are nice to see.

I do like this series. The are no limits. I'm with Abe on the natural light and the tight up close people against the long backdrop really add perspective

So cold looking. I hope those people have a nice, hot pot of soup waiting for them at home :)

It's so fun to look back on these photos! Can't wait till I will be able to see some little buds in the trees!
