Reflection

This is a continuation from yesterdays post. I really like all the pastel shades reflected in the water.

If you have some time today I'd like to direct you to D.C Confidential's Washington daily photo. Her series of post on the opening of the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial are well worth looking at.

Did you notice on the portal our skywatch images have been running side by side. Looked like the same photographer! This is another pastel beauty. I love photographing over water beacuse it throws up extra light on even the dullest day and smooth like this, mirror images.

Thanks for the link too.

Marley, thanks for linking my 9/11 Memorial series here. I left a link with more information about my sister's colleague's brother in the comments, but I'll leave it here, as well. To read more about Scott Powell, go here.

I esp like this close-up. Just took a catch-up tour. I love the yellow door (in color) - it's so unusual & really nice with the warm brick wall on the side.
I agree about DCC's photos. & I have a bunch of Stevie Wonder tunes running thru my head. In my marching band in high school, we used to play "U R the Sunshine of ..." & we sounded pretty good even.

I love the blue-grays and pale pinks in your reflection shot, anchored by topsy-turvy trees on top - that gives context, makes it interesting.

Oh wow. This is very nice. I had to look at it a couple of times to make sure my eyes were still working.

We had the tail end of Hurricane Ike here all day. I lost my cherry tree and a lot of limbs. The neighbors lost three trees and they fell on a power line and that weight broke the power pole. Not a good day here in SW Ohio.

Mine are on Canon Pixels

Indeed the reflection of the sky are really lovely. I particularly like the little waves formed by the rain.
