Marmalade

I know my cat normally shares his photos and thoughts with you on his own blog, but today he has let me post a feline photo here. This isn't my pesky cat, but he looks just as moody. I just saw this cat sat on the road and snapped a photo. I can't believe how well it turned out. I'm rather pleased with myself. I don't think I could have got a cat-on-the-street photo as good as this if I'd tried. I also like his funky collar!

The person who comes up with the best name for this moggy can have a free link in my post tomorrow!

It's Raminagrobis! He's waiting for a cab to go shopping - tuna's on sale at the PussyCatFishmonger.

Petrea, I think that's what Brits call this color of tabby cat. I could be wrong there.

He certainly looks like he's deep in thought - purr-haps indigestion? Fantasies of high station? I'd call him Baron Bodmin, but that's my ancestry bubbling up again. ;^)

Forgot the obvious - Bluey.

Crookshanks, a la Harry Potter. Actually, the closer I look at him, the more I think he looks like Rupert Grint in the morning. Ergo, I'm going to name this puss Rupert.

I think I'd buy him a lovely tartan collar and name him Hector.

Love the collar too, which makes me think that 'he' is actually a 'she.' And she's a beauty!

I already like Marmalade as a name. How about naming her after the collar then? I can't decide whether the pattern is a leopard's or a jaguar's, so 'Panthera' (the genus) then.

Ugh. I think I'm showing my nerdy roots now.

Magnificent shot of a most impressive cat. I'd probably call him Red - he's red (sort of) and looks street smart to me. I can see him handling himself well in an argument. His fur is a bit rough, he's a street-wise guy for sure. Okay maybe he's a she - I wouldn't know. I do know I love the photograph.

Your choice of name is purrfect. I enlarged this it's fantastic in detail.

Cleocatra, Cleo for short. How bad is that for a name, but she/he does look regal.

Pretty cat, and excellent photo. He certainly is moody. I'll go with Mr. Bigglesworth for the name.
