Here is another photo of the not-so-nice side of Regency Cheltenham - shopping trolleys and rubbish. This was taken just off of the Lower High Street, by the bridge that carries the former Honeybourne track, now a cycle route. I really like all the elements in this shot - the brickwork, the iron gate, the rubbish and, of course, the trolleys. I know its sort of perverse, but I quite like it when I stumble across a photo op like this. Makes a change from my usual fare, though in some parts of town this is common place._

I have a number of photos in my archives, of trolleys. One is of a group, parked under a tree..they look as if they are having a meeting !
I like photos of the real world ... they have thier own kind of beauty and often tell a story..

I like it when bloggers show the not-so-nice aspect of their towns and villages. It's more realistic. Your trolleys are shopping carts in our lingo here.
Such a contrast with yesterday's beautiful photo! But surely that's true of any town. It is of mine.
I guess even in historic and vibrant cities like our own, it's important to show the other side. Shame there is such a side but that's life I guess. People can be so thoughtless sometimes.
I remember your trolley in the water. Well you know I whole heartedly support this sort of daily image.
Not nice at all. What happens to all our council tax!? Lets hope it all gets sorted within the new council master plan.
