This stone elephant is one of a pair that stand either side of the doorway of a restaurant that has recently starred on television. Ooo, I know, lets have a little competition! Name the restaurant and the TV program and win a Cheltenham postcard. Exciting! Answer and more revealed on Monday.
I came by yesterday and of course, went on an elephant google-(sa)fary. And found nothing...but I will take a stab - the restaurant is a Thai food place and it was featured on furryfeet.tv tourguide television (http://www.furryfeet.tv/cheltenham/dining_out.php) There is a fun party on right now...with Elvis. If you need any tips on Asian restaurants in Cheltenham area, don't hesitate to ask :)

While I can not name the restaurant I can appreciate the very well carved stone elephant.
I've no idea, I never watch TV (unless I'm at someone else's house). But I love the photo!
Hiya, Nellie! I have no idea about the show, but I sure like her ornaments.
I know!
But as I only live round the corner I'll let someone else win!
A handsome elephant sculpture! It makes me think right away of India!

My daughter, who lives in Cheltenham, says "curry corner - it's great, I'll take you there one day".
But that's all - not a winning entry, I'm afraid
These indian elephants are fantastic! I've only bought one in India, much lighter and smaller (LOL), but very unique! :-)
