Theme Day - Circles & Spheres

Its Theme Day time again and what better way to start the week than with a bit of sparkle! I think today's theme is one of the broadest subjects we've had for ages and I found there were loads of things to choose from. In the end I settled for this mirror ball in a shop window. Not only are there reflections in the ball but also the sphere is reflected in the mirrored backdrop. If we have the theme 'Reflections' in the future I could use this one again!

There are another 186 City Daily Photo Blogs taking part in this theme. Take some time out today to see how others have interpreted Circles & Spheres. Click here to view thumbnails for all of the participants.

Check back tomorrow for more of my Changing View series.

I like this festive interpretation. Works well in b+w and the reflection adds even more interest. Enjoy circling the globe on this theme day . . . another sphere of influence.

I see white high heels, corned beef rash legs, handbags in a circle and girls dancing in a wider circle round those handbags. Ah I know this much is true! That mirror ball is just so evocative of the 80's nightclubs. Shudder! Actually I want this now in a kitshy way. Excellent choice, because it's superbly taken but even better it made me smile.

Well I am not signed up for THeme Day. It closed while I was out galavanting in Paree. Well I just joined in just the same. I love your reflective ball and I love that you visit my blog often and leave such nice comments.

Oh goodness, looks like we're all showing our age here — "disco ball," LOL! You're about the only one who called it a mirror ball. ;D

I've answered your comment about the red egg in my blog. I thought it was too long to post it here — I would've hogged the space.

This is marvellous for today. The sphere, of course, but those reflections and a beautiful photograph.

You found the perfect photo for the sphere theme! And it's in the holiday spirit too. The black and white was a good choice for this one. Great shot!

Like Babooshka, this took me straight back to the 80s! (that was me with the corned beef legs!) What a great picture, brilliant for the theme day :)

ooh, see that girl, watch that scene, digg in the dancing queen (or this is how we used to sing it in our broken english back then) Can you tell Abba is so hot in Rotterdam again :)

I don't know what everyone means - what's this disco ball they speak of?? ;)
Actually, that was not my 1st impression - just a very sparkly, festive giant Christmas ornament. Excellent choice for Theme Day!
