Greyhound Bus

Not quite the famous Greyhound buses that run in America but a poor-mans UK version from way back when. This Greyhound ran from Bristol back in the day (now its all National Express buses.) This one was in Cheltenham's Prom yesterday but I'm not sure why. If it had been carrying passengers it would have been round the corner at the Royal well bus station. Anyway, I liked the look of its retro design and thought it was worthy of sharing here.

On a completely different subject - is anyone else having a problem getting onto the CDPB site? Its been playing up for about the last three days. I did manage to get onto it briefly before it vanished. I saw that someone had posted a comment in the Technical Forum about the site being slow, I tried to post a response but that's when the disappearance occurred! If you can get onto it let the powers that be know there is a problem out here! Cheers.

It does look like a different Greyhound. Used for a prom?? I'll have to take a look at the CDPB site now that you indicated that there's a problem.

Major problems, it seems. I manage to get onto the 1st page of the recently updated blogs but if I try navigating onto a different page, Firefox tells me that the site has been reset or that the connection has timed out. I've been having to use my bookmarks (limited) and other sites' blog lists (like yours) to visit. I hope Demosthenes and Igor get it fixed soon.

Oh I love the looks of your Greyhound Bus. Now I'm singing "In the backseat of a Greyhound bus" in my head (have you heard this song? Maybe not, lol)

I haven't been on CDP site in a while, in fact i haven't been on anyones site in a while, you may have noticed,lol...I've been a horrible visitor lately, life is too hectic at times!

CDP is definitely down, can't get on at all. I asked on Facebook last night. Cool retro bus colours and design and so much better than the bland generic ones now.

This is really cool! Much nicer than the straight-lined modern buses.

And yes, I can't open CDPB page either...

Aw, this is a cute bus. I'd happily hop on.

Yes--I had trouble yesterday getting on to the portal. Today was ok.

rather apt that it was made by Bristol's as well as coming from there. From the numberplate, I'd say that it was registered in about 1966.

Not been on the site since I announced my thousandth posting. It does seem slow changing pages on the thumbnails.

CDPB portal seems to have just jumped into life as I've come from there (after missing it all day) but like those who don't put eggs all in the same basket have been visiting regular blogs via other means.
