These giant baubles were at the new Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol. I went there a couple of weeks ago, to be honest I won't be bothering to go again - no shops that stood out for me, only the usual high street stores. Anyway, these baubles were about six feet tall and they were stacked up in a pyramid that must have been about eighteen feet high! Imagine the size of the Christmas tree you'd need to hang them on?! It was a pretty impressive Christmas feature, although I'm not sure what those jets of water were all about!
The photo was taken on my camera phone, so its a bit rough looking.

Well it looks good for a Christmas presentation doesn't it? Different anyway. Haven't been yet to the new shopping centre.
ReplyDeletethese must brighten the shopping center with all that color with lots of surface area. Nicely done - really sharp for cell phone shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun though!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Very festive!
ReplyDeleteThey should really clean that off the glass - it looks nasty!!!
ReplyDeleteBut WOW - HUGE!!!
I was had to wait in Bristol coach station for my luggage to arrive from Exeter. I have never returned. Nicely done for a cameraphone.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how big the Christmas tree is going to be. You're gonna show us the tree, right?
ReplyDeleteJust imagine the closet needed to store these baubles until next season!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Christmas display...wasn't sure what that was in the front until you said water! Interesting! I love the Christmas bulbs used as decorations not on the tree. I put a big vase out in my dining room full of red and green bulbs like this....makes a nice display!
ReplyDeleteThese are definitely the biggest ornaments I've seen!
ReplyDeletethe colors are very cool, i've seen a couple around dallas similar to this also - it would take a very large tree =) pretty good photo for a camera phone!
