How could I ignore this shop window?! The White Stuff clothes shop always has an entertaining window display and it never fails to catch my eye (my profile photo gingerbread man is from this shops window.) Whoever comes up with these ideas is worth their money, but what is going on in their mind to come up with squirrel headed mannequins?!
This would certainly make you stop and really look at the merchandise in the window and maybe even venture inside, and perhaps buy something while you're at it. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny and original. It would be interesting to know how much it boosts the sales.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I like squirrels and mannequins have never bothered me (esp. after seeing Lars and the Real Girl. Great movie!), but that's just freaky!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun photo, Marley. What all the best nutters are wearing this fall...
ReplyDeletevery nice window display... i'm sure your reflection is in this photo as well, but i can't see it.. just some leaves =)
ReplyDeleteSuch cute squirrels! They do have some clever window display people at the store. It's adorable!
ReplyDeleteGreat imagination in this display. Squirrels and I do not get along so well . . . they drive me "nuts" when they dig up my flowers and bulbs.
ReplyDeleteCute! Wouldn't quite work here because we don't have squirrels. Or autumn, for that matter. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I know what's going on in their minds...more traffic, more viewers, and they certainly are achieving that goal. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI think it was more than nuts the advertising gurus were on when this image was conjoured up. Weird pic of the day.
ReplyDeleteOk so summer was officially over last weekend and now we are in no doubt it is Autumn. Squirrels nuts and yellow leaves. Very quirky window. I wouldn't have been able to ignore it either.
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of original window shop. It's original and fun. It definitively grabs the attention and works well with the outfit too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what they will come up with this winter!
Marley,
ReplyDeleteApparently my profile is not available. I tried to fix the problem, but it's broken again.

Thanks and sorry again.
This is a bit too surreal for words. The heads look like the Bambi character on the old Babycham glasses.
ReplyDeleteThis is really bizare. LOL. Sure catches the eye though so it's bound to sell!
ReplyDeletePerfect for fall!!
ReplyDeleteI guess the retailer is trying to say: Autumn is approaching so it's time to squirrel up your nuts.
